Presented by Paradise Grills, the Kids Beating Cancer Hats & Heroes Ball hosts “Welcome to the 60’s” on October 5th, 2024 at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando. Featuring the high-octane Tony Award winning original cast of the high-profile Broadway show Jersey Boys. Along with the New York-based phenomenally talented soul singer, songwriter, and Broadway actress Morgan James. The production of national acclaimed talent, along with a full cast of singers and dancers will bring you back in time to the early 60’s when music launched a new sound. Get ready for the British Invasion with the sound of the Beatles, the surfin rock sound of The Beach Boys, the Motown sound of The Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, The Chiffons, and the jazz pop grammy sounds of Bobby Darin. “Oh, what a night,” with the best-selling musical group of all time, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are just some of the performances of the evening that will make you want to go “Dancing in the streets!”

OUR FIRST 30 YEARS
Since 1992 Kids Beating Cancer has carried out its mission of providing children with cancer access to life-saving treatments, while supporting the children and their families throughout the journey to a cure. Our focus in the beginning was to bring state of the art care to Central Florida so no child should ever have to leave their community of support to receive the best hope for a cure. Through Kids Beating Cancer’s unwavering advocacy and investment in the community, we have accomplished that goal!

As we look to the future, our vision is to advance research, bringing the latest treatments and clinical trials available worldwide to the bedside right here in Central Florida. We will continue investing in the development of improved methods to treat children diagnosed with cancer more safely, effectively and with fewer side effects, and to focus on advancing the most significant breakthroughs in the treatment of pediatric cancers that will offer the best hope of a cure to children with cancer worldwide.
Our dedication to our community is to create a unique, one-of-a-kind Safe Haven for children and families, this “Kids Place” of healing and hope will be dedicated to curing children. With your support, the Kids Beating Cancer Children’s Center can become a reality for all the children and families of our community! The Center will be a gift to the children of Central Florida and beyond, allowing our philosophy: to keep hope alive, to fight for a cure for every child, and to keep the family together. Science and treatment will continue to be at the apex, where knowledge, treatment and family support coalesce to cure a little boy or girl to beat cancer, and for the family to survive the journey.
Kids Beating Cancer’s focus remains on the belief we all strive for— the day when no child will die before they can experience the joy of life.
